About yin yoga
Yin yoga has its roots in the Hatha yoga systems of India and was brought to China with the spread of Buddhism. In China it went through a deep change and was added to Qigong, Martial arts, and Chinese longevity and health practices and also adopted into Chinese medicine. Yin yoga is used to open the meridians and release tension from the fascia, calm the nervous system and mind, and bring you into a state of emptiness and quietness to hear your own inner voice.
What participants say about our teacher trainings
"Todd has been an incredible teacher. He has challenged, inspired, and shared an endless amount of knowledge and wisdom. If you are curious about the impact that deep transformation and healing can have on your life, combined with all the benefits that a physical yoga practice brings, then this is absolutely the training for you. I can do nothing but give this program the highest rating. I only wish it would never have come to an end."
- Maria L
“I am so glad that I took the opportunity and signed up for this training. It was much more than just yoga. The program offered personal growth and opened up new ways of thinking. Todd guided and led us throughout the course with great knowledge, dedication, and passion. It felt like such a privilege to immerse myself in the world of yoga for 200 hours at this stage of life. I can highly recommend this training—it was the perfect way for me to deepen and develop my yoga practice.”
- Catrine
“Todd brings a wealth of experience from many different fields, which he shares through a variety of themes each weekend. We participated in several inspiring ceremonies, including tea and cacao ceremonies. Todd is authentic, generous, and brings a wonderful sense of humor to the training. The weekends have been deeply nourishing. It feels as though you step into a bubble separate from everyday life, filled with magic, music, practice, sweat, laughter, and tears. The 200 hours, spread across eight weekends, passed incredibly quickly, and I find myself wanting more. The training is demanding and can be very challenging at times, but it has given me so much and is one of the best gifts I have ever given myself. Being able to share this experience with my amazing fellow students, each of us on our own unique journey while traveling the path together, has been truly special.”

About the teacher - Heng Ni (Todd Grube)
Heng Ni is an international teacher of yoga, qigong, movement, and spiritual practice from the United States. He has been teaching for more than 25 years and has led classes and trainings throughout Asia, Europe, South America, and North America. He has also owned yoga centers in both the United States and Sweden.
He was introduced to yoga as a child by his mother, who was a student of the revered yogi Paramahansa Yogananda. Later in life, he chose the monastic path and spent two years living as a celibate yogi in an ashram.
After leaving ashram life, he met Manju Jois, who introduced him to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and certified him within that tradition.
Heng Ni later studied Jivamukti Yoga and Yogic Arts, a unique blend of Vinyasa Yoga and martial arts created by master yogi Duncan Wong.
He has also trained extensively in martial arts, including karate, capoeira, wushu, and Shaolin kung fu under the guidance of Shaolin monk Shi Yan Ming.
Heng Ni had the privilege of studying for many years with Paulie Zink, the Taoist yoga master and founder of Yin Yoga, and received his blessing to teach.
Five years ago, he unexpectedly met his spiritual teacher Yogeshswari from Japan, with whom he now studies both classical tantric yoga practices and Japanese spiritual traditions.
In addition, he has studied Ayurveda and acupuncture within the framework of Chinese medicine and worked professionally with these disciplines in the United States for many years.
“When I decided to take the leap and sign up for Todd’s Yoga Teacher Training, I wasn’t entirely sure that becoming a yoga teacher was what I wanted. However, I knew it would enrich my life—and wow, it truly did! Todd’s depth of yoga knowledge is world-class. I am deeply grateful for this experience and equally grateful that I had the courage to take that step. Now, just one month later, I have been offered a position as a yoga instructor, and I look forward with excitement and joy to a new chapter in my life. With great love and sincerity, I wholeheartedly recommend Todd’s Yoga Teacher Training.”
